| Overview |
| ·Professor Chen is dedicated to refrigeration and air-conditioning system integration, energy conservation and indoor air purification since 1991. The main specialty of his research is to achieve designated indoor environment requirement through integration of different heating, cooling, humidification and dehumidification, purification, automatic control system. He has won several Shanghai science and technology advancement award including two third prizes and one second prize, in addition, he wins two third prizes of Machinery Industry Federation science and technology advancement award, the second prize of PLA science and technology advancement award. Recently, Professor Chen has published 7 SCI-indexed papers and 8 EI-indexed papers in Journal such as “Building and Environment” and “Applied Thermal Engineering”. He has also published more than 60 paper in “Journal of Refrigeration”, “Journal of Solar Energy”, “Journal of HV&AC”. He has been authorized 6 patents of invention. He is the main draftsman of standard JG/T409-2013 - “radiant heat exchanger for heating and cooling”. He has been offering the course of “Refrigeration Technology”, “Air-conditioning Engineering” and “Building Automation System” and the “Air-conditioning Engineering” is awarded by Shanghai Municipal of Education as Excellent course prize. In 2017, he won the first prize of excellent director in the 15th MDV central air-conditioning system design and application competition. He also offers the graduate level course of “Modern Air-conditioning Technology” and “Building Electric Control Technology”. More than 80 master’s students has graduated under his supervision. |
