Taking the Carbon Peaking and Carbon Neutrality academic lecture as an opportunity, SEA established the Hujiang Future Urban Construction Culture Park
On November 22, the third session of the Scientific Research and Talent Training series salon of the School of Environment and Architecture in 2022 was held in the Nordic Cultural Exchange Center of our university. Zhang Beihong, the vice president of Shanghai Academy of Building Sciences, was invited to give an academic lecture themed Building Energy Saving Development Path under the Double Carbon Background, and the founding ceremony of Future Urban Construction Cultural Park of Hujiang was also held, Nearly 90 teachers and students of the College participated in the activity online and offline, which was hosted by Wang Lihui, vice president of the College.
First of all, Jin Jing, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Institute of Environment and Architecture, announced the establishment of Hujiang Future Urban Construction Culture Park. Hujiang Future Urban Construction Culture Park is sponsored by the College of Environment and Architecture, the major of architectural environment and energy application engineering, and co sponsored by HVAC Online and CAHVAC. Adhering to the current double carbon strategy and the policy direction of green ecological civilization in China, and based on the construction background of the big ideological and political course of the school, the Wenyuan aims to carry out a series of academic lectures, international forums, academic round tables and other rich activities, continue to inherit the spirit of Hujiang, deepen moral cultivation, promote school enterprise cooperation, and constantly enhance the soft power of Shangli Environmental Protection Institute for social impact.
As the first academic lecture of the future urban construction of Hujiang Cultural Garden, President Zhang Beihong's lecture was very informative and valuable, focusing on the hot issues of energy conservation and carbon reduction in urban architecture under the dual carbon policy in Shanghai. President Zhang proposed the main development path of building energy conservation under the dual carbon goal from the aspects of new buildings, stock buildings and renewable energy utilization, based on the introduction background of Shanghai Urban and Rural Construction Carbon Peak Implementation Plan and the analysis of the current situation, key issues and development trend of building carbon emissions.A number of teachers and students conducted various consultations and interactions on the spot. The lecture exchange lasted more than 2 hours, and the academic atmosphere on the spot was warm and strong.
The successful holding of this activity has laid a good foundation for the long-term development of the series of activities of Hujiang Future Urban Construction Culture Park of the College of Environmental Construction. Wenyuan will give full play to the characteristics and advantages of each major of the College of Environmental Protection and Construction, implement the talent training goal of low carbon, green, smart and healthy that is urgently needed by the city in the future, and promote the development of high-level disciplines of the College of Environmental Protection and Construction and the construction of national first-class specialties.
